About Us

The Afri-Ball is the UK’s biggest night of African food, fashion, music and culture.

It also exists as a platform that honours Africa and celebrates the exceptional efforts of Africans in United Kingdom and beyond.

It was created out of the need for a dedicated platform that celebrates distinguished Africans living and working in the United Kingdom and beyond, while honouring the rich African culture.

Afri-Ball is an Africa day event which holds annually in the month of May to commiserate with the global celebration of Africa Day which holds on the 25th of May and throughout the month.

As a charity, Afri-Ball uses her platform to not just honour Africa, celebrate Africans but to also champion a cause in native-Africa, where the global African diaspora can be part of.

Every year, Afri-Ball releases her ‘Top 100 list’, a listicle chronicling distinguished Africans who have remained exceptional in their various endeavours, all year round.

The honourees will cover exceptional individuals in business, politics, art, literature, media, fashion, charity and film,

In the context of fashion, Afri-Ball seeks to become the ultimate cultural event where the best of African fashion and design will be curated.

Afri-Ball is a registered charity.
