Afro Creators Awards
Afro Creators Awards; stylised as ‘The A.C.As’ is a staple ceremony within the Afri-Ball and is dedicated to recognising and celebrating the creative efforts of Africans in the United Kingdom and the diaspora.
It features the presentation of our signature medal ‘the gold star” and award certificate to the different nominees who have won their categories.
‘The A.C.As’ is a viewer’s choice awards which begins with a nomination process where eligible creators can nominate themselves or their friends under our different existing categories.
After the nomination window closes, nominees are shortlisted and the top 10 eligible and highest nominations per category, are published for voting to commence.
Nominees are voted for by their fans and community, in a transparent voting process open to the public.
The awards ceremony ends with the biggest category of the night, the CREATOR OF THE YEAR category which is usually accompanied by a confetti moment, a presentation of the gold plaque and cash rewards from an independent sponsor.
